Flowers are one of my favourite subjects in my opinion, not just because I'm a girl, but they show so much emotion.
Anyway, this picture was taken just before Christmas in my room with one of Joelle's dead flowers given to her for her 15th birthday by my boyfriend. They were slowly fading, and would soon be thrown out, so I stole one that looked pretty.
I kept it in my bathroom, and it soon wilted, and it's head fell to a bow. I liked the contrast on the petals, so I wanted a picture that would make it stand out. I chose the wall in my room that was painted a dark chocolate brown. Unfortunately, I'm one of those subject maker photographers, rather than a subject finder photographers. But, never the less, I like it, and so did a professor at York when I went in for my interview. Hoping to get into York, fingers crossed. Maybe they'll like my site?
